We had a fairly unhurried day today. Briefly, we had planned to do the Staten Island Ferry, then walk around Battery Park which is a reclaimed park at the bottom edge of Manhattan. We were then going to go to the cinema, and then grab dinner on the way back.
We left at about lunchtime, the cinema showing of the Joker was at 3pm so we had plenty of time. We've done the ferry before. The harbour is a short walk form here, about 10 minutes. It's free and goes to and from Staten Island. The round trip took about an hour. There was a brisk wind but it wasn't too cold. Warm enough that you could just about manage to stay outside. We were lucky and the ferry on the return journey had an outside viewing deck, so we got some really good views and photos.

As we walked around Battery Park, we stopped for a coffee as it was a bit cold and we had time to spare. We went to the same place we visited when we came on our honeymoon in 2014. That time we had come in the last week of November when it was much colder. We've thought that this time of year, the temperature has been perfect, not too hot and not too cold.
